《Vol. 137》 Public Perception on Local Extinction and Policy Responses in the Era of Population Decline
Not only is the nation facing the risk of existential threat due to ultra-low fertility rates, but the simultaneous occurrence of Local Extinction resulting from population outflow in regional areas is also a pressing reality. Consequently, various policies to address Local Extinction have been planned and implemented, yet their effectiveness remains limited. With this in mind, this research team aims to investigate public perception of Local Extinction and evaluate related policies. Based on these findings, we intend to propose policy recommendations to implement regional response strategies that reflect public demand.
